A Day in the Life of a Data Entry Specialist
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management processes. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:
- Processing orders and verifying pricing and availability
- Typing accurately, preparing, and maintaining order documents and records
- Communicating with vendors to ensure orders are allocated promptly and correctly
- Obtaining shipping quotes, preparing shipping instructions (BOLs), and scheduling pick up for ready orders
- Reconciling open and closed orders in a timely manner
- Researching, tracking, and restoring documentation when problems or discrepancies arise, including lost orders and production delays
- Informing management and compiling reports/summaries on activity areas
- Functioning in accordance with established standards and procedures
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 1 year of related experience in a customer service account
- A track record of over-achieving quota
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and web-based software
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and related reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for details and numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well-organized
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, having the following skills will be beneficial:
- Familiarity with Shopify or equivalent e-com experience
Technical Requirements
To ensure seamless performance, you'll need:
- A personal computer or laptop with the following specifications:
+ Processor: Intel i5 or equivalent Ryzen 5 + RAM: 8GB + HDD: 250GB + Windows 10 Pro / Windows 11 Pro Operating System: Must be Genuine License + Windows OS build model 21h2 and up + Sound card and video card (built-in is okay) + Minimum 19" of Monitor, preferably 22" + USB Headset
- Internet speed of at least 25MBPS or higher
