Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative in our Aetna Customer Support Remote Jobs program, you will play a critical role in helping individuals navigate their healthcare plans and make informed decisions about their medical care. You will be responsible for answering inbound calls, resolving customer inquiries, and providing personalized support to our members. Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and respectful manner

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction ratings

Essential Qualifications

* 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, such as call center, retail, or customer service

  • PC proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex customer issues and develop effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, communications, or healthcare

  • Experience in a healthcare or insurance industry setting
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
  • Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish or Mandarin
