Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician - Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing professional phone assistance to our members, providers, and other stakeholders through our criteria-based prior authorization process. You'll maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to our pharmacists. If you're a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Provide professional phone assistance to members, providers, and other stakeholders through our criteria-based prior authorization process

  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials
  • Transfer all clinical questions and judgment calls to our pharmacists
  • Respond to member and provider inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED required

Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service position with high-volume call center experience, preferably in healthcare, social services, or a similar service position

Certification:

Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required at a State or National level

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
