This is a part-time position at the Associate level, requiring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Chat Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients through live chat support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues through live chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and timely information on insurance plans and benefits to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with online tools and resources to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive customer experience
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and data security to protect sensitive information

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Energetic and dedicated personality traits, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, with experience in customer service or support roles
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment
  • Familiarity with relevant software applications and systems
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
