About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Operational Resilience to support the development and implementation of a robust Operational Resilience Framework within a regulated banking environment. This role is critical in ensuring the Bank can effectively prevent, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions while maintaining service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Resilience
- Support the development, review, and implementation of Operational Resilience policies and frameworks
- Assist in Business Impact Analysis (BIA), including data collection, validation, and reporting
- Identify critical business services, assets, and dependencies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement controls and mitigate operational risks
- Participate in incident management and ensure appropriate response actions are in place
- Contribute to governance reporting for senior management and committees
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Assist in designing, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity Plans
- Support internal and external recovery arrangements
- Coordinate BCP testing schedules and monitor outcomes
Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk
- Support the development and implementation of outsourcing frameworks and policies
- Assist in third-party risk assessments and contract reviews
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
Training & Awareness
- Support delivery of workshops and training on Operational Resilience, BCP, and Crisis Management
- Promote a strong resilience culture across the organisation
Policy & Governance
- Assist in drafting policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks
- Support audit activities and ensure timely closure of findings
- Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and internal standards
Candidate Profile
- 3 years’ experience in Operational Risk within banking or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and risk management frameworks
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
