Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with strong experience in converting legacy services (e.g., SOAP, WCF, monolithic architectures) into modern RESTful APIs using the .NET ecosystem. The ideal candidate will play a key role in service modernization, API design, and cloud-ready architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing legacy services (SOAP/WCF/ASMX/monoliths) and design migration strategies to RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+ / .NET 8
- Refactor and modernize backend services for scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Implement API best practices (versioning, security, documentation, error handling)
- Design and integrate microservices architecture where applicable
- Work with frontend and integration teams to ensure seamless API consumption
- Optimize APIs for performance, reliability, and security
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions
- Document APIs using tools like Swagger / OpenAPI
