Title: Hardware Product Manager

Location: Remote

Hanwha Vision is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for its B2B surveillance portfolio. You will be working among a team of product managers for different products including hardware and software product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Field engineers, support and other to ensure the success of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translating the pain points and customer requirements / pain points into Product/Market Requirements Document (PRD/MRD) and detail features set with clear understanding of each use case and feature workflow.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of product from product introduction to End of Life including market and competitive analysis, requirements gathering, and market validation.
  • Conduct product testing and evaluation and provide detailed feedback to internal PM team across the globe.
  • Must be able to read market trends, catch new technologies, and implement the new product or features.
  • Understand the B2B surveillance market, including pricing, features, value, and use cases.
  • Drive the product development processes and work closely with marketing communications teams to deliver new products and functionality to customers
  • Ensure feedback is sought after and accurately reflected in the prioritization of product features and functions.
  • Act as a project manager to ensure that the product is being developed on schedule, understands challenges and concerns and meets the minimum requirements.
  • Become an expert on products and how they compare to other offerings in the marketplace
  • Travel, including international for up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, or related discipline preferred)
  • Experience in the B2B electronics industry, preferably in Security surveillance, ideally 3+ years of experience
  • Technical background in IP networks, as well as capability to keep up with new technology and trend
  • Capable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions
  • Ability to represent the company in various events
  • Positive Interpersonal Attitude that exhibits a consistently positive and professional demeanor when dealing with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers. Capable of maintaining constructive and effective relationships even in challenging situations.
  • Self-Driven and Motivated and capable of demonstration a high level of initiative and motivation, capable of independently driving projects forward and overcoming challenges without the need for constant supervision.
