Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and develop software solutions, and ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects that will help shape the future of retail. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and cloud applications using a range of technologies including Java, Python, and AWS
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design software solutions that meet those needs
• Developing and maintaining high-quality code that is scalable, reliable, and secure
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues with our applications and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Working closely with our QA team to ensure that our applications meet our quality standards
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and applying that knowledge to our projects

Requirements

To be successful as a Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll need to have:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
• Proficiency in a range of programming languages including Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with containerization using Docker
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as Amazon DynamoDB
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
