Experienced Project Data Entry Clerk – Solar Power Industry

Responsibilities

As a Project Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:

• Gaining a full understanding of the project structure and process for creating new projects and entering change orders
• Running daily project reports from our CRM to identify new projects awarded
• Creating projects in our project management application using the project report as a guide
• Setting up the work breakdown structure of tasks for timesheet entry
• Creating billing rules used to invoice clients
• Establishing project folders using project numbers created for the engineering team
• Running daily change order reports from our CRM to identify new change orders awarded
• Updating existing project work breakdown structures using change order reports
• Adding change order milestones to billing rules
• Assisting with the tracking and follow-up of client-issued purchase orders
• Participating in special projects as requested by the Project Coordinator

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 0-2 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable responding to requests from all departments, including Sales and Engineering
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
• Great teamwork and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a hybrid in-office and remotely weekly schedule
