Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for:

• Safely loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft
• Ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather
• Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate baggage routing
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations

Requirements

To be successful as a Ramp Agent, you'll need:

• A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Proficiency in English
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
• Ability to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field
• Knowledge of airport operations and procedures
