Responsibilities

As an Experienced Retail Cashier – In-Store Sales and Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Processing transactions efficiently and accurately, handling payments for all store transactions, and reconciling daily transactions and preparing bank deposits at the end of each shift.
• Greeting and assisting customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously, and utilizing sales skills to upsell and cross-sell arenaflex products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Providing exceptional customer service, engaging customers, and articulating the value of arenaflex memberships and services.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's standards and policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of two (2) years of sales and customer service experience, particularly in a cash handling position.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating the value of arenaflex memberships.
• Proficiency in computer skills and ability to navigate multiple websites and programs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor specific screenings.

Nice-to-haves

While not required, experience in a retail environment and familiarity with arenaflex products and services are highly desirable.
