Individual Consultant: Consultant to undertake Formative Evaluation of UNICEF India’s Public Private Sector Engagement (PPSE) - open to National and International Consultants

 

Duty Station: New Delhi        

Contract Duration: 6 months    

Closing Date: 27th April 2026

Please note that the contract is delivery-based with a specific delivery schedule. Consultant should manage their own time and ensure submission of the deliverables as per the schedule. As consultancy contracts are deliverable based, an individual may hold concurrent contracts. Consultants will largely be remote/home-based, not office-based. However, the consultant will be required to visit the UNICEF office premises for meetings as required/agreed with the contract supervisor.

HOW TO APPLY

The application to be submitted through the online portal and must contain five separate attachments, as follows:

  1. A Cover Letter (max 2 pages) detailing the suitability of the candidate for the job in terms of education background, experience, and professional certification, if any (to be uploaded online under “Cover Letter” tab)
  2. An updated CV demonstrating all requirements stated above (to be uploaded online under “CV/Resume” tab)
  3. A relevant writing sample – it should be an evaluation that the candidate was either the lead or core team member (to be uploaded online under “Writing Sample or list of Publication or Portfolio” tab)
  4. A technical proposal including (a) Reflection on the proposed methodology, offering further detail and elaboration on methods, or comments on the scope and evaluation questions (i.e. what may be more or less difficult to answer), proposes innovative techniques, if possible, (b) Proposes a feasible implementation task, with appropriate inputs days and outlines quality assurance mechanisms and steps for the assignment and (c) possible risks/peripheral problems and strategies to prevent and manage risks/peripheral problems (to be uploaded online under “Technical Proposal” tab). 
  5. A financial proposal indicating all-inclusive amount against each of the deliverable, as per the template attached -  Financial proposal template - Formative Evaluation of UNICEF India’s Public Private Sector Engagement (PPSE).docx. Please do not forget to specify your name in the file while saving (to be uploaded online under “Financial Bid” tab). 

 

Important Note: Please do not indicate financials anywhere else in the online application form, please mark "n/a or 00", under the fee related questions in the online application form.

Without all the above five documents, your application will be considered incomplete and invalid and will not be considered further.
