Job Details
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Successful candidate will get exposure to calculating provincial credits
- Bank postings (A/R)
- AR reconciliations
- Exposure to inventory and other adhoc projects.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a secondary education Business Administration/Accounting Program. Must be able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week, depending on the department's needs.
Minimum Skill Requirements:
- Understand Accounting principles
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Good project management skills
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Customer service experience an asset
- Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
- Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
