Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Presides as Co Director of the production
- Presides as the musical director of the production
- Selects music for production
- Organizes auditions for the production
- Runs blocking and run-thru rehearsals of a cast of students
- Organizes the rehearsal and tech/stage crew calendar
- Attends all rehearsals & pre-production meetings
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, patience, good communication skills, and creativity with the staff, students, and parents
- Works in conjunction with Co-Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager, Set Designer and Costumer to manage the overall production
- Communicates with parents as to the participants' responsibilities and volunteer opportunities
- Communicates with administration as to the production's needs and advertising in the community
