Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering and updating data in databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Reviewing and verifying data for errors, ensuring high levels of quality control
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files in a timely and orderly manner
  • Communicating effectively with team members to clarify data and resolve discrepancies
  • Assisting in the development of reports based on data analysis as needed
  • Ensuring that data is properly backed up and protected from loss
  • Performing routine audits to check data integrity and consistency
  • Managing multiple data entry projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Basic understanding of data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new software and technologies

Experience

While prior experience is not required, any experience in data entry, administrative support, or office tasks is a plus. You'll need to be able to handle repetitive tasks and maintain focus over long periods.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. You'll have flexible working hours with a set schedule between Monday and Friday, and the ability to work from the comfort of your home.
