- Accurate and timely tracking of student data and ongoing progress monitoring using a combination of provided tools
- Frequent review of student progress monitoring with assigned academic leadership
- Assist with screening and evaluation of students using CEN-provided tools
- Collaborate in the planning and implementation of whole-building literacy celebrations, family engagement opportunities, and incentives that align to the school?s Engagement Plan and Academic Model
- Active participation in required professional learning provided by CEN and/or selected strategic partners
- Attend meetings with the Principal, academic leaders, teachers, or families as requested
- Commitment to the belief that all students can learn and succeed
- A relentless work ethic and a high degree of patience to push through difficult challenges
- Hold a Bachelor?s degree in education or equivalent; advanced degree in reading, literacy, and/or the science of reading strongly preferred
- Minimum of three consecutive years of successful reading teaching as evidenced by student data
- Demonstrated success in providing small group and individual instruction to students preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; high attention to detail
- Proficient in use of technology, including Google Suite
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams of teachers and instructional leaders
- Desire and humility to continually grow and improve as an educator
- Will successfully pass a criminal background check
