Job Summary

As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information in a timely and friendly manner. You'll work closely with our team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, while also staying up-to-date on current tax laws and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and issues

  • Review confidential tax information and maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies
  • Provide account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer requests
  • Utilize online web tools to perform light to moderate research and resolve customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported throughout their interactions with arenaflex

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist customers either by phone or in person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and issues

  • Review confidential tax information, maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies
  • Provide account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer requests
  • Provide customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
  • Utilize technology for advanced support, including online web tools and software applications
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service

Minimum Entry Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

  • Six months of call center experience handling customer questions, complaints, and/or providing information

Essential Qualifications

• Customer Service: Ability to appropriately address customer issues, in the interests of achieving customer satisfaction and respecting business needs

  • Results Orientation: Ability to identify the most appropriate method for completing a project or reaching a goal
  • Good Judgment & Decision Making: Ability to evaluate all the relevant aspects of a situation, such as potential consequences, and make an appropriate decision
  • Accountability: Ability to accept responsibility for one's actions with honesty and integrity, while maintaining credibility and remaining committed to organizational success
  • Teamwork & Cooperation: Ability to promote the team atmosphere, be respectful of all team members, and work well with co-workers & leadership
  • Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze problems and resolve issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume Contact Service environment

  • Bilingual in Spanish or second language, with good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer inquiries and issues simultaneously

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

  • Must be able to obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 per hour (non-bilingual) / $17.00 per hour (bilingual in Spanish or second language)
