Position Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Service Representative. As a remote customer service representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.

Responsibilities

As a Member Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc.
• Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
• Participating in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex, which includes both in-person and remote training sessions
• Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
• Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
• Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software
• Passion for delivering top-notch customer service
• Ability to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we encourage applicants with the following qualifications to apply:

• Experience working remotely in a call center setting
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
