Job title: Middle School- Boys 8th Grade Basketball Coach Company: Glen Ellyn School District 41 Job description: Position Summary: The Basketball Coach is responsible for recruiting within the school, training, and coaching the members of the Glen Crest Middle School Basketball program. Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordination of the development and promotion of the Basketball program.
• Assess the athlete's skills and give appropriate feedback.
• Work with the Principal and Other Authority Figures to organize and schedule practice sessions and game times
• Teach life skills and develop character with regards to the game of Basketball.
• Effectively communicate with the Athletic Director, parents, athletes, and administrators.
• Administrative tasks include ensuring all eligibility documents are completed and submitted.
• Hold parent/guardians meetings and meetings with all athletes. Must follow established procedures in the event of an athlete?s injury.
