Job description: Summary of Primary Purpose
Assist the Campus Worship Pastor/Leader in leading a campus worship ministry including volunteers, both musically and spiritually (if a Pastor). Preparation through prayer, thought, and intention give to support each weekend service and special events of the ministry. Support a specific campus worship ministry including scheduling, recruiting, training and shepherding worship employees and/or volunteers.
Scope of role:
May oversee 3-6 employees and/or 15-20 volunteers (worship team) in the absences of the Worship Pastor/Leader
Essential Roles & Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Support the campus Worship Pastor/Leader at the weekend services at specific Harvest campus
- Participate with and rehearse a band with excellence
- May schedule worship teams (staff and volunteers) for assigned events and needs
- Prepare tracks and volunteer resources for the weekend services, in collaboration with all Worship Ministry
- Relationally and pastorally active, connecting and caring for volunteers, and building teams
- Recruit, manage, equip and unify staff and volunteers; Provide coaching for skill development and spiritual growth; Rehearse a band with excellence
- Coordinate and resource worship for internal/external events at the campus (including kids, student, and young adult ministry)
- Train staff and/or volunteers for internal/external events (including kids, student, and young adult ministry)
- Collaborate with Worship Pastor on skill levels and development needs for instrumentalists and vocalists
- Actively involved in the community of the assigned campus (e.g. growth groups, campus events, training nights, community outreach, etc.)
- Assist with set up and preparation at the campus in high demand seasons as required (e.g. Easter, Christmas, Summer Camps, and Special Events)
- Work with Worship Pastor and Campus Pastor when other staff members are away
- May support various pastoral duties and functions including praying with, counseling and shepherding members of the church
- Desire to grow in discipleship, serving, equipping, learning and leading
- Personal and growing relationship with Jesus and a humility to testify to it

- Ability to pray with other employee's, guest and attenders of the church
- Be an active, engaged and accountable in the congregation life at Harvest Bible Chapel
- Intermediate instrumental and vocal ability

- Intermediate knowledge of music software, Ableton Live (AL) and Planning Center Online (PCO), ProPresenter, Google Suite and/or Apple Suite
- Basic knowledge of audio and lighting systems
- Bachelor's degree; Worship or Music preferred
- 2 years of worship leading experience
- 2 years of music directing experience preferred
- Pastor title: must be ordained and approved by, Pastor of Leadership & Development or Lead Pastor, Vision & Teaching
