Job Summary
We're seeking an Experienced Crisis Specialist to join our remote team on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team. As a crisis specialist, you'll be responsible for handling incoming chat/text messages, providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments
- Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs
- Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation
- Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods
- Demonstrates high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette
- Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources
- Knowledge of suicide assessments
- Skill in providing crisis intervention
Shifts
We offer a variety of shifts to accommodate different schedules and lifestyles. Please note that shifts may be subject to change based on business needs.
- Shift 1: 4am-12:30pm Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- Shift 2: 4:30am-1:00pm Wednesday-Sunday with Monday/Tuesday off
- Shift 3: 6:00am-2:30pm Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- Shift 4: 9am-5:30pm Friday-Tuesday with Wednesday/Thursday off
- Shift 5: 12pm-8:30pm Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- Shift 6: 3:00pm-11:00pm Wednesday-Sunday with Monday/Tuesday off
- Shift 7: 6:30pm-3:00am Friday-Tuesday with Wednesday/Thursday off
- Shift 8: 9:00pm-5:30am Sunday-Thursday with Friday/Saturday off
- Shift 9: 10:00pm-6:30am Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday/Monday off
Qualifications
* Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field required; or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- Years of Experience: Six months to one year of related crisis experience is preferred
- Required Certification/Licensure: N/A

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $19.10-$26.80 per hour.
