About the Role

The Budget Program Consultant will provide analytical, operational, and programmatic support to enhance program performance and organizational effectiveness. This role leverages industry experience to support cross-functional initiatives, improve data-driven decision-making, and increase efficiency across programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze program data, performance metrics, and operational trends to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of agency initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with program offices, support planning, coordination, and stakeholders across functional areas.
  • Assist with business process improvements, digital transformation, and modernization efforts.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, federal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor program performance and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Professional Skills

  • Experience supporting or leading cross-functional programs or initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with program performance management and operational processes.

Preferred Professional Skills

  • Experience in government or public sector environments.
  • Knowledge of federal policies, compliance requirements, or regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience supporting transformation or modernization initiatives.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
