POSITION
The Department of Kinesiology at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.
We welcome applications from individuals who are experienced and student centered to teach in the following subject areas:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Athletic Training
- Biomechanics
- Exercise Physiology
- Fitness
- Gerokinesiology
- Legal and ethical Issues in Kinesiology
- Motor Control and Learning
- Recreation and Physical Activity Promotion
- Sport and Exercise Psychology
- Strength & Conditioning
- Teacher Education
- A Master's degree in Kinesiology or related field or equivalent experience.
- Candidates should have prior teaching experience at the university level.
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students
- K through 12 (Teacher Education) and/or University-level teaching experience in Kinesiology
- The ability to communicate effectively and work with a culturally and ethnically diverse student population
- Demonstrated ability/potential to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate education to a diverse student population, including first-generation and under-represented college students
- Record of scholarship in their respective area of specialization
- A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in teaching, scholarship, and/or service.
- Preference will be given to those with significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment
- Preference will also be given to those with relevant performance and professional experience
- College-level teaching experience in the discipline of Kinesiology
- For Athletic Training classes; current Athletic Trainer certification
- For Teacher Education classes; K through 12 teaching experience
- Letter of interest or Cover Letter which includes a statement of which courses qualified to teach
