Position: PRN Nurse Status: Part-Time Location: McKinney, TX Role Overview: As a PRN Nurse, you will play a vital role in administering intravenous vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly to our clients, helping them optimize their health and wellness. Key Responsibilities: IV Administration: Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration. Client Monitoring: Assess client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment. Infection Management: Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy. Assessment: Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses. Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions. Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills.
