Summary

We are developing a comprehensive Pathophysiology curriculum designed to provide a strong scientific foundation for undergraduate students. This specific module focuses on the following content areas: Cellular Adaptations, Cellular Injury, Endocrine Disorders, Nervous System Disorders, Respiratory System Disorders, and Gastrointestinal Disorders. Our goal is to create an engaging, standards-compliant learning experience that promotes scientific literacy and mastery of pathophysiological principles of diseases, including their risk assessments and complications. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Content Reviewer in Pathophysiology. The successful candidate will evaluate curriculum content in short educational videos and ensure it is accurate, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives for graduate students and health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Review and assess the accuracy and quality of content for the abovementioned Pathophysiology topics. Ensure content is scientifically accurate, pedagogically sound, and aligned with current medical and scientific standards. Identify and flag any errors, ambiguities, or gaps in the explanation of pathophysiological processes. Provide constructive feedback on curriculum materials to enhance clarity, coherence, and instructional value, particularly regarding complex mechanisms of action and risk assessment frameworks. Collaborate with curriculum developers to address revisions and maintain high-quality standards. Verify consistency in medical terms and terminologies, tone, and style across lessons and modules.

Qualifications

A PhD in Biomedical Sciences/Pathophysiology or an MD in Medicine/Pathophysiology or closely related health sciences field is required. Strong conceptual understanding of disease mechanisms, including cellular, molecular, and systemic alterations underlying common and complex disorders. At least 3 years of academic, clinical, or teaching experience, curriculum development, or content review, preferably involving undergraduate or graduate-level medical, nursing, or allied health education. Familiarity with current clinical guidelines and evidence-based frameworks (e.g., pathogenesis–clinical manifestations–diagnostics correlations). Strong attention to detail and written communication skills. Experience reviewing or editing educational materials for biomedical sciences or health professionals is a plus.
