[Remote] Client Financial Optimization – Analyst

CVS Health is dedicated to building a world of health around every individual, and they are seeking an Analyst to join their Client Financial Analysis and Optimization team. The role involves providing financial consultation and pricing support to clients, analyzing pharmaceutical data, and presenting recommendations to key business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners including sales, clinical, account management, finance, underwriting, operations, networks, trade, and product marketing
• Gain insight into the PBM or a client’s business problem to be solved; formulating a data-driven approach to solve the problem; and presenting solutions to the client or executive team
• Provide consultation on all aspects of PBM pricing offers, including retail networks, specialty and mail dispensing, pharmaceutical manufacturer rebates, and administrative fees
• Develop and apply information on pricing concepts and strategies to create competitive financial offers
• Understand and support client’s financial goals and objectives
• Manage tight deadlines, ensure deliverables are met and accurate
• Occasional travel to client site to participate in client meetings may be required

Skills

• 1 year of overall related experience pertaining to:
• 1 year of experience in analytic skills
• 1 year of experience in a field such as: finance, mathematics, operational analysis, statistics, epidemiology, sales and marketing research, accounting, economics or other data-driven field
• Experience requirements may be met through educational and/or internship experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (data bases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions
• Knowledge of Python or other statistical and database software, including SAS, STATA, SPSS, R, and SQL highly preferred
• Experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry is preferred
• Experience in advanced Microsoft Excel-based modeling
• MBA or Master's in data analytics, finance, economics, or similar quantitative field
