About the Role

Our client, a prominent financial services firm, is seeking a motivated and analytical Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join their fully remote team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong financial acumen and a passion for data analysis to launch their career. You will support the finance department in various aspects, including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, robust quantitative skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. Working remotely, you will collaborate with team members across different locations, leveraging technology to maintain seamless communication and project execution. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning. Prepare reports and presentations on financial performance for management. Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Support the accounting team with month-end close activities. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management. Research economic and industry trends that may impact financial performance. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial functions). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is a plus. Eagerness to learn and develop professionally in the finance industry. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
