Senior Director, Remote Workforce Management

Our client, a leading innovator in cloud-based solutions, is looking for an experienced Senior Director, Remote Workforce Management to build and lead their entirely remote workforce strategy. This is a 100% remote position, perfect for a leader passionate about optimizing distributed team performance and fostering a connected, productive culture without a central office. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing policies, technologies, and best practices to ensure our global remote employees thrive. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with expertise in remote work dynamics, HR strategies, and operational efficiency for distributed teams. The focus is on creating an exceptional experience for every remote team member, regardless of their location.

Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive strategies for managing and supporting a fully remote workforce. Develop and refine policies related to remote work, performance management, employee engagement, and collaboration tools. Identify and implement technologies and platforms that enhance communication, productivity, and connection among remote employees. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of remote work initiatives and employee satisfaction. Collaborate with HR, IT, and Legal departments to ensure compliance and provide seamless support to remote employees. Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on best practices for remote work. Drive initiatives to foster a strong, inclusive, and collaborative remote company culture. Oversee the operational aspects of remote work, including onboarding, offboarding, and equipment management. Act as a subject matter expert on remote work trends and best practices, advising executive leadership. Champion the benefits and opportunities of a remote-first operating model.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in HR leadership, operations management, or a related field, with a significant focus on remote work strategies. Proven experience in developing and implementing successful remote work policies and programs. Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of managing distributed teams. Expertise in HRIS systems, collaboration tools, and relevant remote work technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others. Demonstrated ability to build and nurture a positive and productive remote work culture. Experience in leading change initiatives and driving adoption of new work models.
