Remedy Specialist

Covius is a company committed to passion and customer focus. The Remedy Specialist will be responsible for correcting documents that have been rejected for recordation and ensuring they meet client requirements for resubmission.

Responsibilities

  • Read and reviews county rejection letters, notes, and reject images to determine rejection reason
  • Utilize resources of county requirements, client notes, NTC policies/procedures to cure rejection reason & correct document
  • Obtain knowledge of NTC services & documents to assess what is incorrect about a Document/Order
  • Determine the appropriate area of the company that caused the document rejection (i.e. client vs NTC error) and the reason for rejection to ensure future rejections are diminished
  • Correct Documents/Orders by entering data into the company database with correct information, once verified, and re-submit the Order/Document for processing on the production line
  • Communicate with other departments of NTC as well as the client through queries when necessary to ensure rejections are re-processed through the correct production lines as applicable
  • Follow all NTC Policies regarding Reject handling to ensure additional rejections do not occur in coordination with the appropriate department
  • Communicate rejection issue with client in terms the client will understand and does not use NTC Terminology
  • This position will have KPI metrics based on the number of tasks completed as well as the ability to maintain an acceptable error rate
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed. Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize multiple objectives to meet client deadlines and department goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Commitment and ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required
