[Remote] Firearms Auditor

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rural King is America’s Farm and Home Store, providing essentials to the communities we serve. As a Firearms Auditor, you will be responsible for reviewing current firearms transfers across all stores to ensure compliance with ATF guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conducts remote audits of store’s ATF required records and books on a reoccurring basis
• Responds to all request from the ATF Tracing Center
• Secondary point of contact for all store compliance questions
• Ensures all non-POC stores have accessibility to LEEP for NICS background checks
• Maintains ATF Bound Book logins and accounts for all Rural King locations
• Fields and responds to all customer and store compliance issues regarding firearm transfers
• Use general office equipment
• Frequently operate keyboard to enter in information
• Sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
• Verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices)
• May be required to perform other duties

Skills

• 1+ years of firearms compliance experience in a retail environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must be proficient with report writers as well as creating reports from multiple data sources
• Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, good listener, and ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
• Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
• Ability to complete computer-based training
• Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations
• Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically
• Able to navigate and access all facilities
• Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices
• Close vision for computer-related tasks
• ATF Compliance experience preferred
