Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-15

Join arenaflex: Where Compassion Meets Data Excellence

arenaflex is a forward-thinking, mission-driven organization dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience through accuracy, innovation, and unwavering commitment to quality. As a leader in health services and information management, arenaflex partners with healthcare providers, insurers, and members to ensure that critical data flows seamlessly across systems, empowering better decisions, better care, and better outcomes. Our remote workforce is the backbone of our operations, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of service while offering our team members the flexibility and autonomy they deserve.

We are currently seeking a meticulous, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Part-Time Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to join our growing distributed team. This is more than a typical data entry job — it is a chance to contribute meaningfully to an industry that touches millions of lives every day. If you take pride in precision, thrive in a structured yet flexible remote environment, and want to build a long-term career within the healthcare sector, arenaflex wants to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as a critical link in the chain of healthcare information management. Every record you update, every data point you verify, and every system entry you complete helps ensure that healthcare professionals, insurance teams, and patients receive accurate, timely, and actionable information. Your work directly supports the integrity of our databases, the efficiency of our internal teams, and ultimately, the quality of care our members experience.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, designed to accommodate students, parents, semi-retired professionals, career-changers, and anyone looking to supplement their income with meaningful, purposeful work. You will be working remotely from your home office within the United States, reporting to a supportive team lead who values clear communication, work-life balance, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data across multiple internal databases, systems, and digital platforms used by arenaflex and its healthcare partners.
  • Perform regular data quality audits and validation checks to ensure the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of all stored information.
  • Review source documents, electronic files, and scanned records to extract and enter relevant information with a high degree of precision.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to data-related inquiries from internal departments, providing accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies, errors, or missing data, and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor or data management team.
  • Follow all established data entry procedures, security protocols, and confidentiality guidelines — including HIPAA-aware practices — to protect sensitive healthcare information.
  • Maintain organized digital records, files, and logs to support auditing processes and operational transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and quality assurance, to support ongoing data initiatives and special projects.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving systems, tools, and workflows as arenaflex continues to innovate and scale its remote operations.
  • Meet or exceed individual productivity and accuracy benchmarks set by the data management leadership team.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, healthcare administration, information management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven proficiency in data entry with a strong track record of accuracy and speed (typically 50+ WPM typing speed).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and anomalies in large datasets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Self-discipline and motivation to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining consistent productivity.
  • Solid computer literacy, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort navigating web-based applications.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or records management — healthcare or insurance industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology, medical billing codes, insurance claims processing, or electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, internal ticketing systems, or specialized healthcare databases.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations, data privacy standards, and confidentiality best practices.
  • Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.

Skills and Competencies for Success

At arenaflex, we believe that the right mindset is just as important as the right resume. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of technical skill and interpersonal strength, including:

  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to interpret, organize, and process large volumes of information logically and efficiently.
  • Communication: Clear, professional, and courteous written and verbal communication with team members and internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfort with change, willingness to learn new tools, and the flexibility to shift priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Accountability: A strong sense of ownership over your work, your accuracy, and your contribution to the broader team mission.
  • Integrity: Unwavering commitment to data confidentiality, ethical handling of sensitive information, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Resilience: The ability to maintain focus and productivity during repetitive tasks without sacrificing quality.

Working Hours and Schedule

This is a part-time position with an expected commitment of approximately 20–25 hours per week. arenaflex understands that flexibility is essential for part-time team members, and we offer scheduling options designed to support work-life balance. Shifts may be available during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend opportunities depending on business needs. Your specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process and may be adjusted as you grow into the role.

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex is committed to offering a competitive, transparent, and fair compensation package for all team members. While the exact hourly rate will be discussed during the interview process and based on experience and location, part-time employees at arenaflex can expect:

  • Competitive hourly wages, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Flexible part-time scheduling that fits your lifestyle.
  • Fully remote work environment — no daily commute required.
  • Paid training and ongoing skill development opportunities.
  • Access to employee discount programs and partner perks.
  • Eligibility for performance-based incentives and bonuses.
  • Pathway to full-time roles for high-performing team members.
  • Supportive leadership and a culture that genuinely values its remote workforce.
