About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of corporate wellness solutions headquartered in Houston, Texas , is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Coach to join their remote team. This position is designed for a passionate advocate of health and well-being who can effectively guide and inspire individuals through virtual coaching sessions. As a remote Wellness Coach, you will develop personalized wellness plans, deliver educational content, and provide ongoing support to employees of client organizations, all through digital platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of various wellness domains, including nutrition, fitness, stress management, and mental well-being. You will be instrumental in helping employees achieve their health goals, improve productivity, and foster a healthier workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
Conduct virtual one-on-one coaching sessions with employees to assess their health and wellness goals. Develop personalized, evidence-based wellness plans addressing nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and other lifestyle factors. Provide ongoing motivation, support, and accountability to clients to help them achieve sustainable behavior change. Deliver engaging virtual workshops and educational seminars on various health and wellness topics. Track client progress and outcomes, making adjustments to plans as needed. Maintain confidential client records and document all interactions using secure online systems. Collaborate with HR departments and corporate stakeholders to tailor wellness programs to specific organizational needs. Stay current with the latest research and best practices in health coaching, nutrition, fitness, and behavioral psychology. Contribute to the development of new coaching materials and program content. Act as a positive role model and advocate for healthy lifestyles. Manage a caseload of clients effectively, ensuring timely and consistent engagement. Utilize various communication tools and platforms to facilitate remote coaching and client interaction.
Requirements
Certification from a reputable health and wellness coaching program (e.g., NBHWC, Wellcoaches). Minimum of 4 years of experience in health coaching, wellness program management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of nutrition, exercise physiology, stress management techniques, and behavioral change theories. Excellent virtual communication, active listening, and motivational interviewing skills. Proficiency in using video conferencing tools, CRM software, and digital health platforms. Ability to develop and deliver engaging online content and presentations. Empathetic, patient, and non-judgmental approach to client interaction. Strong organizational and time management skills, essential for remote work. Bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychology, nutrition, or a related field is preferred. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home office space.
