[Remote] CRE Sales Advisor, SFR & BFR/BTR Portfolios

SVN | SFRhub Marketplace is a national leader in the SFR/BFR real estate sector, seeking a CRE Sales Advisor to partner with elite advisors and brokers. The role involves leveraging institutional-grade data and transaction support to originate and execute SFR and BFR/BTR assignments, while advising clients on portfolio strategies.
Responsibilities
- Originate exclusive listing assignments for scattered/localized SFR portfolios or BFR communities (typically 5-500+ homes) by cultivating relationships with owners, operators, and investors in your market
- Advise clients on portfolio strategy, including aggregation, disposition, recapitalization, and market selection, using SFRhub's scrub reports and analytics
- Underwrite SFR/BFR portfolios, including rent rolls, operating statements, physical conditions reports, capital plans, and exit scenarios, in partnership with SFRhub's analytics team
- Prepare broker opinions of value (BOVs), offering memoranda, and marketing materials tailored to institutional and programmatic SFR/BFR buyers
- Manage full-cycle portfolio sale processes: buyer targeting, outreach, offer coordination, negotiations, due diligence support, and transaction closings
- Maintain expert-level understanding of local SFR/BFR fundamentals, including rent growth, vacancy, your local regional market conditions, financing/capital markets, operator presence, and portfolio sale activity
- Leverage SFRhub's digital marketplace to increase exposure, match portfolios with national buyers, and streamline transaction execution
- Collaborate with fellow SFRhub advisors, capital markets partners, and local SVN offices to cross-source opportunities and deliver integrated solutions
- Consistently manage and grow your prospect, owner, and buyer pipeline within the CRM and Advisor sales support
Skills
- 3–10+ years of experience in CRE investment sales; most likely in SFR/BFR-focused brokerage; small-, mid-, or large-size multifamily (2–50+ units); mixed-use assets; or high-volume investment residential agent transactions
- Demonstrated experience closing income-producing property transactions with portfolio or multi-asset experience
- Strong understanding of CRE investment analysis - cash flow modeling, cap rates, leverage, financing strategies, and risk/return trade-offs
- Active real estate license in your state/region
- Familiarity with SFR/BFR investors or 'investor-heavy' residential sales (e.g., significant share of business from landlord/investor/operator clients)
- Existing relationships with SFR/BFR owners/operators/builders (local communities and scattered), small to mid-sized multifamily owners, or SFR/BFR buyers
- Team member experience on investment sales teams at major CRE firms or boutique firms handling small- to mid-sized multifamily or scaled residential rental portfolios
- Understanding of institutional SFR capital deployment, portfolio underwriting, and operational metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
- Relevant professional designations (CCIM, SIOR, CFA, etc.), Multifamily or SFR/BFR certifications are a plus but not required
