[Remote] Senior Product Designer, Visual

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. R/GA is a global digital innovation agency specializing in digital product development and brand transformation. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead projects, mentor junior designers, and create innovative design solutions for their Google team.

Responsibilities

• Execute top quality design work in line with agency standards
• Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project
• Mentor Junior Designers
• Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications
• Work with Creative Directors and leads to ensure design work exceeds client expectations
• Explain and articulate design decisions and rationale with confidence
• Take an active part in client meetings and presentations
• Contribute to the creation and definition of flexible design systems and visual languages
• Design and iterate on user interfaces and experiences for websites, landing pages, microsites, digital products, and mobile apps
• Collaborate across teams to build scalable, attainable solutions
• Prototype interactive experiences that engage users and drive conversion

Skills

• 5+ years' experience designing
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education and experience
• Advanced command of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and mobile applications; a proven track record in UX/UI is required
• Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout
• Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients
• Has outstanding presentation skills
• Demonstrates a strong portfolio in digital product and experience design, showcasing responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Has a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interactive design trends
• Can mentor junior team members
• Familiarity with front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and hands-on experience in building websites and digital platforms is a strong bonus
