[Remote] Legal Specialist

MyRemoteTeam Inc is seeking experienced Legal Subject Matter Experts to support advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives focused on legal reasoning and compliance analysis. The role involves collaborating with AI research and product teams to improve the performance of AI systems designed for legal research, contract analysis, and more.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, legal reasoning, and jurisdictional relevance
- Review and validate legal datasets, contractual clauses, statutory interpretations, and legal references
- Identify hallucinations, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and compliance risks within AI-generated outputs
- Support prompt engineering and legal AI training workflows through structured analytical feedback
- Annotate, label, and assess legal content used in AI model development and fine-tuning processes
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal frameworks across multiple practice areas
- Collaborate with AI engineers, product teams, and operational stakeholders to improve model performance
- Contribute to the development of legal taxonomies, knowledge structures, and AI evaluation methodologies
- Ensure outputs align with legal standards, ethical AI practices, and responsible AI guidelines
Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited institution
- 20+ years of legal industry experience preferred
- Strong legal research, analytical reasoning, and legal writing skills
- Experience interpreting statutes, regulations, contracts, and legal frameworks
- Ability to evaluate complex legal scenarios with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working within structured review and evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM platforms
- Exposure to AI evaluation, prompt engineering, annotation, or AI-assisted review workflows
- Experience with legal tech platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, eDiscovery, or CLM systems
- Understanding of AI governance, ethical AI practices, and compliance-focused AI workflows
