[Remote] Senior Pharmacy Financial & Analytics Analyst - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sentara Health is a healthcare organization seeking a Senior Pharmacy Financial & Analytics Analyst to work remotely. The role involves acting as a liaison between Finance, Analytics, IT, and Pharmacy, focusing on data content and business logic for reporting, as well as gathering requirements and supporting process development.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Finance, Analytics, IT, and Pharmacy
- Focus on understanding data content and the business logic behind all data transformation for reporting
- Develop expertise in the data and systems leveraged internally and externally for the Pharmacy Department
- Gather requirements, perform analysis, support the development and testing of processes, and understand and document the applications, data, and associated technologies for the Pharmacy Department
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Database Management- 2 years
- Data Analysis – 2 years
- Managed Care – 2 years
- Experience with SQL (Intermediate–Advanced) - Writing queries from scratch
- Experience working with datasets, including understanding table relationships, joins, and data flow across systems
- Experience with Databricks experience - Data engineering / big data platform
- Experience with Excel (Intermediate–Advanced) - Data manipulation, analysis, and reporting (e.g., formulas, pivot tables)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and resolve problems using available resources
