Dice is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to deliver data, analytics, and AI solutions in the life sciences domain. The ideal candidate will lead project execution, provide technical leadership, and ensure successful outcomes while remaining hands-on in solution development.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead project execution from design through delivery
- Drive technical decisions and ensure successful outcomes
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
- Promote engineering best practices and contribute to the overall technical direction of projects
Skills
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture
- Proven experience in data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML solutions
- Domain knowledge in the life sciences/pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Ability to independently drive project execution and deliver complex technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship in an individual contributor role
- Ability to influence architecture, engineering standards, and delivery practices without direct people management responsibilities
