[Remote] Senior Product Marketing Manager (Remote)

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving product positioning, go-to-market planning, and sales enablement to support the company's growth strategy and improve literacy outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning, messaging, value propositions, and differentiation across assigned products and solution areas
- Develop messaging frameworks and guidance to ensure consistency across customer-facing, partner-facing, and internal communications
- Partner with Product Management to translate product capabilities into clear customer benefits and market differentiation
- Serve as a steward of product messaging across the organization
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products, product enhancements, pricing initiatives, and strategic programs
- Develop launch plans, communication strategies, enablement resources, and supporting materials
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and drive alignment across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Help ensure organizational readiness and successful execution of launches and key initiatives
- Lead messaging and communication planning for major business initiatives, including product migrations, portfolio transitions, pricing updates, and customer lifecycle programs
- Develop audience-specific communication plans and messaging strategies that support customer adoption and engagement
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to ensure a consistent customer experience and coordinated execution
- Support executive leaders by driving initiatives from planning through implementation
- Develop and maintain sales presentations, battlecards, FAQs, competitive comparisons, talk tracks, and other enablement resources
- Partner with sales leadership to improve field readiness and messaging effectiveness
- Support training and readiness efforts for Sales and Customer Success teams
- Provide ongoing competitive and market insights to customer-facing teams
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and win/loss reviews
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership
- Create and manage product collateral, website content, case studies, customer stories, partner materials, and related assets
- Partner with demand generation, field marketing, and digital teams to ensure product messaging is reflected across campaigns and programs
- Monitor the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, launches, messaging, and enablement efforts
- Use data and analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, Communications, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or marketing strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and bringing products, programs, or services to market
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams without direct authority
- Experience developing positioning, messaging, sales enablement resources, and go-to-market plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and project leadership
- Experience in K-12 education, educational publishing, or education technology
- MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
- Prior literacy education background a plus!
