[Remote] Software Engineer in Test (Mobile)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PineQ Lab Technology is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team. The role involves performing various types of testing for E-Commerce mobile applications, ensuring quality and functionality across iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform Functional, Regression, Exploratory, Smoke, and End-to-End testing for iOS and Android mobile applications
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Validate core mobile workflows including login/OTP, checkout, payments, push notifications, and order management
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects through the complete defect lifecycle
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Business teams to clarify requirements and identify edge cases
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate quality status to stakeholders
- Execute testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and network conditions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release validation activities
Skills
- Very strong in Typescript/JavaScript
- Must be from retail background and worked on E-commerce mobile applications
- Need a strong hands-on guy who can articulate
- 8–10 years of QA experience with strong focus on Automation, Manual and Mobile Functional Testing
- Hands-on experience testing native/hybrid mobile apps on iOS and Android
- Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Mobile Automation using Javascript/Typescript, React Native, APPIUM

- Proficient with Jira or similar tools
- Experience using Browser Stack for device testing
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience in E-Commerce domain
- Exposure to API testing using Postman
