[Remote] Mechanical Design Engineer - IV
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Business Integra Inc is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support gas turbine Hot Gas Path components through advanced analysis, design support, and root cause investigations. The role involves performing various analyses and collaborating with global engineering teams to provide technical recommendations and design reviews.
Responsibilities
- Perform FEA, structural, thermal, modal, and fatigue analyses using ANSYS
- Conduct lifing assessments (LCF, HCF, creep, oxidation, fracture mechanics)
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and field engineering requests
- Create and present technical recommendations and design reviews
- Collaborate with global engineering teams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field
- 4+ years of engineering design experience
- 4+ years of ANSYS/Mechanical (FEA) experience
- 4+ years of Siemens NX CAD experience
- Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance stack-ups
- Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work with export-controlled materials
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Experience with gas turbines, rotating equipment, or power generation
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience
