[Remote] Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer will create engaging learning and assessment content, manage projects independently, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging learning and assessment resources across digital and blended formats
- Translate complex content into clear, learner-friendly experiences
- Build interactive eLearning using tools like Articulate, H5P, and HTML5
- Collaborate with SMEs, academic teams, and stakeholders across a remote environment
- Use AI tools to enhance efficiency and quality of content creation
- Analyse learner data and feedback to continuously improve learning experiences
- Own and manage projects end-to-end and support broader team goals
Skills
- 5+ years' experience in instructional or learning design
- Proven ability to work remotely and manage your own workload
- Strong content writing skills - able to simplify complex information
- Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate, Rise, Storyline, H5P or similar)
- Digitally advanced - confident using advanced features across authoring tools and LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle or similar)
- Keeps up to date with emerging ed-tech trends and tools, bringing new ideas into the team
- Experience using or introducing innovative technology (including AI) to enhance learning experiences
- Graphic design capability or strong visual design skills
- Experience or exposure to HTML5 (desirable)
