[Remote] Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Xpert Development is seeking a Software Engineer based in the United States to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and shipping features while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features across our backend and/or frontend systems
- Take ownership of well-scoped projects from implementation through delivery
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and design partners across time zones
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Skills
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
- Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases
- Excellent English speaking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a distributed team
- Based in the United States and able to work during standard US business hours
