Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a steady volume of inbound calls from customers, clients, and prospects in a courteous, professional, and brand-aligned manner.
  • Provide accurate, efficient, and timely responses to inquiries using approved scripting and resources supplied by arenaflex and our clients.
  • Read scripts and messaging verbatim when required, ensuring consistency, compliance, and adherence to client-specific guidelines.
  • Document call details, customer interactions, and resolutions accurately within the appropriate systems and databases.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or client contacts in a timely and organized manner.
  • Maintain a pleasant, enthusiastic, and engaging phone presence, with careful attention to intonation, diction, inflection, and active listening.
  • Adapt to multiple client programs, product lines, and customer profiles while maintaining a high standard of service quality.
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and online certification modules to remain current on client expectations, system updates, and performance standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, quality assurance scores, and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all customer data in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of three (3) months of customer service experience, preferably in a telephone-based or call center environment.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (wpm), with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Moderate proficiency in computer operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to complete online certification and training programs independently, using resources provided by arenaflex, with minimal supervision.
  • A pleasant, enthusiastic, and professional phone presence with strong verbal communication skills, including attention to tone, diction, and inflection.
  • Ability to read client-provided scripts verbatim while still sounding natural, engaged, and empathetic.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated landline telephone suitable for business use (see technical requirements below).
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to thrive in a remote, independent work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working remotely, particularly in a virtual contact center or work-from-home customer service role.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ticketing systems, and call center software.
  • Experience supporting multiple brands, products, or client programs in a single role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet while remaining composed and customer-focused.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (a plus, depending on client needs).

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless and secure customer experience, all independent contractors must meet the following technical specifications:

Computer Requirements

  • Windows-based PC equipped with up-to-date anti-malware security software.
  • Note: Mac/Apple systems, Chromebooks, and tablets are not compatible with arenaflex platforms and programs.
  • Minimum 2 GB of RAM.
  • CPU: Intel or AMD processor at 2 GHz or equivalent.
  • Monitor resolution of 1,280 x 720 (720p) or higher.

Internet Requirements

  • Minimum bandwidth of 10 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download.
  • Accepted connection types: Cable, DSL, or FiOS.
  • Google Chrome is the only acceptable internet browser at this time.
  • Note: Satellite, dial-up, Wi-Fi, and wireless connections are not accepted.

Workstation Requirements

  • A private, quiet workspace free from background noise and interruptions.
  • A dedicated landline telephone (mobile-only setups may not meet client requirements).
  • Compliance with all security and compatibility requirements as outlined by arenaflex and our clients.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional work environment audits to ensure continued compliance.

Availability and Scheduling

This is a fully remote, contract-based opportunity with flexible scheduling. Independent contractors with arenaflex can choose from a variety of shifts, including:

  • Day shift
  • Morning shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift

You will have the ability to set and maintain your own schedule based on availability and client demand, giving you the flexibility to design a work-life balance that works for you.

Compensation and Earning Potential

As an independent contractor, you will be compensated on a per-hour or per-project basis, with additional opportunities for performance-based incentives. arenaflex offers:

Please note: arenaflex does not contract with independent contractors residing in the following states due to state-specific laws governing independent contractor relationships: California (CA), Delaware (DE), Massachusetts (MA), Louisiana (LA), West Virginia (WV), Wyoming (WY), Vermont (VT), and South Dakota (SD). Applicants must reside in an eligible U.S. state to be considered for this opportunity.
