Position Overview

As an Inbound Web Chat Agent at arenaflex, you will be the digital front line for automotive and recreational vehicle customers. Your role is to engage visitors on dealership websites, answer product and service questions, schedule appointments, and capture essential lead information—all through real‑time chat. You will represent our dealer partners with professionalism, empathy, and product expertise, turning casual inquiries into actionable sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Communication

  • Respond promptly to inbound chat messages from prospective car buyers, service seekers, and finance applicants.
  • Provide accurate, concise, and friendly information about vehicle models, trim levels, pricing, financing options, warranty coverage, and service appointments.
  • Maintain a conversational tone that reflects the brand voice of each dealer client while adhering to compliance and privacy standards.
  • Identify customer intent quickly, ask probing questions, and tailor responses to meet individual needs.

Appointment Setting & Coordination

  • Gather necessary details (name, contact information, preferred date/time, vehicle interest) to schedule test drives, service appointments, or finance consultations.
  • Enter appointment data into the dealer’s CRM system with precision, ensuring no duplicate entries and proper follow‑up flags.
  • Confirm appointments via chat and email, providing clear instructions and any required documentation.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Learning

  • Develop and maintain a dynamic knowledge base that reflects the latest vehicle specifications, promotional offers, and service packages.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and marketing teams to update scripts, FAQs, and response templates.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 + years experience in retail customer service, automotive sales support, call‑center environments, or related office‑based customer interaction roles.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional education in business, communications, or automotive technology is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to type at least 35 words per minute (WPM); 40 WPM or higher is preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic internet navigation, web‑based chat platforms, and CRM tools.
