About the Role
The Copywriter is responsible for creating clear, engaging and persuasive content that drives action and builds brand identity. This role involves writing a variety of content types including social media posts, advertisements, website copy, and promotional material. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure content aligns with the company’s voice, goals, and branded message. Additionally, this individual should be fluent in both English and Spanish. Your Key Contributions Write compelling, high-quality copy for a range of materials, including but not limited to advertisements, landing pages, social media posts, and promotional materials. Tailor content to suit different platforms, channels, and target audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure all written content supports and enhances the overall marketing strategy and brand messaging. Proofread and edit content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and accuracy prior to posting. Integrate relevant keywords and phrases into content to increase client reach and engagement. Conduct research to ensure content is informative, relevant and accurate. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor content, and audiences’ preferences. Adapt and repurpose content across different platforms, as needed. What Makes You a Great Fit Action Oriented: Produces timely, high-quality copy across multiple content types by independently drafting, editing, and adapting content to meet deadlines and campaign needs. Collaborates: Works closely with marketing, creative, and design teams to ensure written content aligns with brand voice, messaging strategy, and campaign objectives. Resourcefulness: Conducts research, applies SEO best practices, and adapts content across platforms to improve engagement and relevance for varied audiences. Instills Trust: Upholds brand integrity by producing accurate, well-edited, and consistent copy that reflects the firm’s voice and messaging standards across all channels. Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns Exceptional skill in social media writing to optimize content for search engines. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team Good time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple projects Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field 1-3 years experience in ad copywriting with a solid grasp of tools and methods Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Equipment Requirements, For PC Users: A modern processor (Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 from the last few years) Windows 11 (kept up to date) For Mac Users: A modern processor (Apple M1 chip or a recent Intel Core i5) A recent macOS (Ventura or newer) For Everyone: At least 8 GB of memory (RAM) to run applications smoothly A fast, hard drive with sufficient available storage How You'll Benefit Paid Time Off (PTO) – including vacation, sick leave, and personal days, consistent with the local country’s requirements.
