Position Overview

This full‑time, hourly position offers a competitive pay range of $23.00 – $30.76 per hour, with compensation adjusted for job level and geographic location. The role is primarily home‑based, allowing you to work from a location within 35‑50 miles of one of our regional offices while still enjoying the flexibility of remote work. You will spend roughly 80% of your time working from home and up to 10% traveling for in‑person team meetings, training sessions, and cultural events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to billing, policy coverage, and policy changes via phone, email, e‑form, chat, and social media platforms.
  • Own each interaction from start to finish, ensuring complete resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Make informed exception decisions when appropriate, balancing the needs of the customer with arenaflex’s policies and risk guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal partners—including advisors, agents, and underwriting teams—to gather information and expedite resolutions.
  • Provide clear, concise explanations of complex insurance concepts, helping customers understand their coverage options and any required actions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, share insights with the team, and recommend actionable changes to enhance efficiency and service quality.

  • Support the licensing and compliance process by completing required pre‑licensing courses and obtaining necessary state licenses within designated timelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience delivering customer‑driven solutions in a contact‑center, retail, insurance, hospitality, or similar environment.
  • Strong foundational math skills, including arithmetic, percentages, and basic averaging, to accurately interpret policy details and billing information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical insurance language into plain, understandable terms.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative spirit, especially in a remote setting.
  • Successful completion of the AD Banker On‑Line Pre‑Licensing Course for your resident state, with a minimum 90% exam score (or equivalent certification) before the designated deadline.
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining property and casualty producer licenses for all operating states within 60 days of hire, and to ongoing continuing‑education requirements.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable home office environment that meets arenaflex’s security and productivity standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in insurance sales or policy administration, especially with property and casualty products.
  • Familiarity with multi‑channel support platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, LiveChat, social media monitoring tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume call or chat queues while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Experience with process‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Professional certifications related to insurance, customer service, or sales (e.g., CPCU, CLU, or Certified Customer Service Professional).
