Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist

Job Summary: As a Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist, you are a member of one of IGS’s fast-paced emerging businesses. A Senior Residential Solar Operations Specialist is responsible for a variety of operations related tasks such as customer billing, customer support via phone, email and an IGS in-house ticketing system, data analysis, reporting, facilitating operational issues with internal Residential Solar team and EPCs, and supporting value proposition, pre-pay and buyout calculations for customers. This role directly contributes to IGS’s goal of scaling our Residential Solar business quickly and efficiently. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for working within IGS’s proprietary technology platform, document and contract management, and collaborating with IGS’s Sales and Installation partners to ensure a smoothly operating business. Actively partner with IGS’s shared service groups such as billing and collections, IT, finance and accounting, legal and regulatory, and marketing to sustain business operations and deliver upon the business’s strategic objectives. Collaborating with your direct Lead to provide support to the team, while maintaining processes and achieving goals set. Respond to and support our internal customer service teams to address and resolve any escalated customer related concerns/inquires. Completes projects for Residential Solar related to process improvements, market research and consumer compliance. Develops and leverages user guides and job aids to carry out daily tasks and cross train other team members. Reviews and audits completed work for accuracy, makes corrections when necessary, and timely reports status to management. Becomes a trusted team member by accomplishing team goals, operating with integrity, and by shaping IGS Solar into a world-class solar company. Other responsibilities and projects as assigned. Required Skills: Demonstrates a tenacious drive for results, efficiency, and embraces the value of Continuous Improvement Great attitude and positive outlook in dealing with any customer Basic Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills Ability to create and implement new processes as needed Ability to learn new technology platforms (partner portals, reporting portals, etc.) Ability to adapt, evolve and thrive in an ever-changing environment Ability to learn a variety of IT applications and learn our business’s processes Exceptional organizational skills and document management skills with an acute attention to detail Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong analytical skills, results oriented, driven Minimum Education and Experience: 5+ years previous customer service experience At least 2 years’ experience in “TPO” (Third Party Owner) solar related Customer Resolution preferred College degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, or other applicable field of study a plus Energy experience a plus Basic skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint) Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position. Salary Range: $55,500.00 - $88,800.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
