Location: Canada, Mexico Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Angular Developer to join our client's engineering team. In this role, you will be a key player in designing and building the user interface for our core applications. You will tackle complex technical challenges, build high-quality, scalable frontend solutions, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and scalable UI components and features using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web technologies. Technical Design & Architecture: Lead the technical design of new frontend features, contributing to the overall application architecture and ensuring solutions are robust and performant. Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Champion frontend best practices, including accessibility and performance, through rigorous code reviews. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering their growth in frontend development and improving the team's overall technical capability. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers in a collaborative Agile environment to translate requirements and mockups into fully functional features. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, long-term solutions. Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on frontend development. Deep proficiency in TypeScript and the Angular framework (including concepts like Components, Services, RxJS, and the Component Development Kit). Strong experience with modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and state management patterns (e.g., NgRx). Proven experience consuming RESTful APIs and working closely with backend teams to integrate frontend and backend services. Solid understanding of modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright) and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proven ability to mentor other engineers.

Nice to Have

Advanced API Knowledge: Experience designing or defining API contracts (e.g., with OpenAPI/Swagger) in collaboration with backend teams. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Micro-Frontend architectures. Experience with UI performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
