Virtual Health Technician II
Description Location: UCHealth 2450 Peoria, US:CO: Aurora Department: CU Virtual Primary Care Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights - From 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. 12 hours shifts - 3 days per week. Pay: $20.15 - $30.22 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option Summary: Monitors patients on telemetry devices and monitors at-risk patients on Safety View devices. Responsibilities: Performs surveillance of multiple patients and recognizes abnormal findings. Reports and documents findings. Recognizes, intervenes, reports and documents abnormal findings or at-risk behavior during monitoring. Maintains telemetry records, rhythm strips and charting documentation in EMR. Greets patients, answers phone calls and assists health care team with patient visits. Performs clerical tasks as needed. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Education: High School diploma or GED, or in lieu of HS/GED, satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required. Preferred: EKG training.
