Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 24-MAG is offering a specialized part-time consulting opportunity for legal contracts, diligence, and redline review professionals. The role involves evaluating AI-generated legal documents and providing structured feedback to ensure accuracy and clarity in contract-related materials.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving contracts, legal summaries, diligence materials, redlines, markups, clause comparisons, and issue lists
- Review contract-related materials for accuracy, completeness, rigor, clarity, and practical relevance
- Assess whether legal reasoning, contract interpretation, and issue-spotting are supported by the underlying facts and stated context
- Identify inaccurate assumptions, unclear contract logic, incomplete risk analysis, weak recommendations, or poor linkage between provisions and conclusions
- Review materials involving commercial agreements, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, customer contracts, procurement contracts, and diligence matrices
- Assess whether redlines, issue summaries, risk flags, and negotiation notes are clear, consistent, and practically useful
- Evaluate spreadsheets, contract trackers, clause comparison tables, diligence reports, and executive-facing legal summaries for rigor and usability
- Provide clear written feedback that improves contract review and diligence artifact quality
- Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
- Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
- Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
- Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in contract review, legal diligence, commercial contracts, corporate law, contract management, legal analysis, redlining, legal document review, or related work
- Native or professional fluency in English
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
- Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
- Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment
- Academic backgrounds in law, legal studies, business, finance, compliance, contract management, or related fields may be relevant
- Advanced degree from a reputable institution may be valuable
- Professional training in contract drafting, contract review, legal diligence, redlining, legal writing, or contract lifecycle management may also be relevant depending on project scope
- JD, LLM, paralegal certification, contract management certification, or comparable legal/contracts-related credential
- Experience creating or reviewing contract redlines, diligence reports, clause matrices, issue lists, negotiation notes, risk summaries, contract trackers, or legal presentation materials
- Familiarity with MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, customer agreements, data protection addenda, security exhibits, procurement agreements, and M&A diligence materials
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Word redlines, DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, LinkSquares, ContractPodAi, or comparable contract review platforms
- Strong ability to evaluate both legal substance and visual/presentation quality
